Who PIRs Are
Partners in Residence (PIRs) are experienced operators, former founders and domain experts. They are not mentors who give casual advice over coffee. They are execution partners.
They form the bridge between student ambition and venture execution. A PIR helps builders avoid tutorial hell, weak validation and lost momentum. They enforce the Launchpad rhythm.
5-8 hours per week per venture. PIRs typically work with 1-3 ventures simultaneously. Engagements run for the full 5-month cohort duration with optional renewal.
Weekly Accountability
Setting strict weekly KPIs, reviewing progress and unblocking technical or strategic hurdles.
Strategic Guidance
Helping builders navigate pivot decisions, go-to-market strategies and product roadmap prioritization.
Studio Liaison
Acting as the primary evaluator for ventures progressing toward x42 Studio Integration.
Domain Expertise
Lending deep industry knowledge in areas like D2C, consumer tech, fintech, or healthtech.
